A calorie counter that knows about your training
Counting calories sticks when logging is fast and the numbers mean something for your goal. Fiytt gives you several quick ways to log food and keeps your intake next to your training, so a hard training day and a rest day are not treated the same.
Fast ways to log food
Food search
Search branded and generic foods from FatSecret and Open Food Facts, plus the foods you have logged before.
Barcode scanner
Scan a packaged food and log it in a couple of taps.
Nutrition label scan
Point your camera at a nutrition label when a product is not in the database.
Photo and voice logging
Snap a photo of your plate or say what you ate, then review and confirm the AI estimate before it is saved.
Saved meals and presets
Save the meals you eat often and log them again in one tap.
Water and fasting
Track water intake and run an intermittent fasting timer with a Lock Screen Live Activity.
Set a target that fits your goal
Start from an estimate of your daily energy needs, then adjust for fat loss, maintenance or muscle gain. You can work out your numbers with the free BMR and macro calculators on this site before setting them in the app.
Because Fiytt also logs your workouts and imports activity from Apple Health, you can see whether your eating matches the training you are actually doing, rather than a generic daily number.
Frequently asked questions
Where does the food data come from?
Food search uses FatSecret and Open Food Facts, plus foods you have created or logged before. Barcode lookups use Open Food Facts and your own logged foods.
Are AI photo estimates accurate?
They are estimates. Portion sizes are hard to judge from a photo, so Fiytt shows the estimate for you to review and edit before it is saved. Weighing or scanning a barcode is more precise.
Is the calorie counter free?
Basic food logging is free. Free accounts also get three AI photo scans to try; Premium adds unlimited AI scans and more nutrition features.
One app instead of three
Log workouts and meals, bring in your runs, get AI plans and add a certified coach when you want one. Free to start on iPhone, Android and Apple Watch.
