Snap your meal. Log your workout. One app.
Photo logging is the fastest way to keep a food diary going on busy days. Take a picture of your plate, and Fiytt estimates the foods, calories and macros for you to check and adjust before saving. The difference: your meals land in the same record as your training.
How photo logging works
1Take a photo
Photograph your meal from the food diary.
2Review the estimate
Fiytt suggests the foods, portions, calories and macros. Edit anything that looks off.
3Save it to your day
The meal is added to your diary next to your workouts and activity.
On your phone where possible
On supported iPhones the analysis can run on the device. Otherwise the photo is analysed with Google Gemini. Either way, nothing is saved until you confirm it.
Photo estimates are a starting point, not a lab measurement. Hidden oils, sauces and portion sizes are hard to see, so for meals you eat often, saving them as a meal or scanning the barcode gives more consistent numbers.
Other quick ways to log
Voice
Say what you ate and review the parsed entries.
Barcode and label scan
Scan packaged foods or a nutrition label.
Frequently asked questions
Is the AI food scanner free?
Free accounts get three AI photo scans to try it. Premium includes unlimited scans.
How accurate is photo calorie counting?
It gives a reasonable estimate for typical meals, but portion size and hidden ingredients limit any photo-based method. Always review the estimate; weigh or scan when precision matters.
Does it work for home-cooked and Indian meals?
You can photograph any meal. Mixed dishes are harder to estimate than single foods, so check the suggested items and portions before saving.
